WE ARE PATIO COVER PEOPLE

Patio Cover People was founded in 2012 by Justin Wicks, a contractor who discovered that daylight patio covers are perfect for the Northwest.

In 2021, Tom Moore and Chris McReynolds, two life-long friends who grew up in Tualatin, OR, bought the company. The two 40-somethings have truly made it a family run business. In their first year, Chris’ oldest son took a gap year after high school and did a little bit of everything: ran the forklift, ordered materials, answered phones, and even did a few estimates. Chris’ second son spent two summers running the warehouse. One of Tom’s daughters cleans the office (and does a fine job!), another helps count the inventory a couple times a year and his oldest son has been seen running networking cable and fixing wireless access points around the office. His dad even climbs on ladders and helps with installs.

They are passionate about putting customers first, finding new and better ways of doing things, and providing an environment where their employees love to come to work.

What Happened to the Logo?

If you’ve been a fan of ours since the early days, you may wonder what happened to the smiley face logo. For years that logo served the company well and represented a fun brand with a great product. To maintain a thriving business, you have to keep growing and challenging yourself to be better today than you were yesterday. Our new logo is one of many positive elements that has come from that mentality. Our logo may have changed, but we still love to have fun. We still have a great product. And every day, we still come to work…smiling. If you look closely, you might find a new version of the smiley face floating around.
